Privacy Policy
Last updated 21 July 2026
Sleep Loop works without knowing who you are. You don't create an account and we don't run ads. This policy explains the small amount of data the app touches and why.
Data stored on your device
Your soundscape preferences, sound mixes, favourites, listening history, streaks, and onboarding answers are stored locally on your device. They never leave it and we cannot see them. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Optional usage analytics
The app asks whether you're willing to share anonymous usage data. This is optional and stays off until you agree. If you opt in:
- Events record actions in the app, such as playing a soundscape. They don't identify you.
- Events are tied to a random install identifier generated on your device. It is not linked to your name, email, Apple ID, device serial, or any advertising identifier.
- The app sends events to our own analytics endpoint. We don't share them with anyone.
- You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings, which stops all collection.
Purchases
Apple processes subscriptions and purchases through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives a purchase receipt and an anonymous app user ID — not your name or payment details. See the RevenueCat privacy policy and the Apple privacy policy.
Notifications
If you enable bedtime reminders, the app schedules them locally on your device. We don't send push notifications from a server.
What we don't do
- No accounts or profiles.
- No ads or ad tracking.
- No selling or sharing of personal data.
- No collection of contacts, location, health data, or microphone audio.
Children
Sleep Loop is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above, and flag material changes in the app.
